There are so many pieces of this shoot that are oh so dear to my heart, I’m not sure where to start. So, I will start at the beginning…This session started with the idea of making a floral “bra”. So I did. I went to my favorite place of all times, Hobby Lobby, and gathered all the essentials to create this floral top. After hours of cutting, hot gluing, and my little girl staring at me with eyes full of curiosity, it was finished! With the top being the focal point and “visually heavy” I wanted to balance the look with a simple-feminine background. With our gorgeous sunsets and world’s most beautiful beaches, it was an easy decision on location…the beach. The sky and the water complimented the floral top perfectly along with my gorgeous model, Kylie. Some of you may have recognized her from her maternity shoot I photographed last spring (yes this rocking babe is a mom!)! Kylie has been a very good friend of mine for over 10 years. We had so much fun shooting this session! We climbed huge rocks, ran from a raccoon who really liked us, reminisced about old days, and of course took beautiful images.
