Calling all Girls!? Who remembers colorful gel pens, fancy letter folding, and passing 8th grade love notes? I do! Guilty as charged! Now…are you ready for the most adorable love story ever?! This story stars two “middle school” sweethearts, Kaitlin and Andrew.
It all started their 8th grade year. “I had a major crush on Andrew. One day I passed a well written note to him by sticking it in his back pocket. Of course it was written in gel pen and cleverly folded up. The next night he called me, I saved that message on my answering machine for months! Maybe about a week later he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend in the hall after gym class. I was so happy I just shook my head yes!” Just STOP! And the best part? Their still so adorable and their love is precious, real, and perfect.
I flew into Key West, Fl (the tiniest airport in all of history!!) to document and continue their love story. This was my first time to Key West and I was greeted by a chicken slowly “bobbing” next to my rental car, a salty-refreshing breeze, and luscious palm trees (with coconuts)!
I arrived a few days early to not only venture the streets of Key West, but to scout some locations for the day of! Kaitlin and Andrew got married at the one and only, Ernest Hemingway House. You know the famous writer with a house filled with six-toed cats!? (Fun fact, Ernest named all his cats after famous people and the tradition continues in this day and age)! Also, if you love cats this is the place to be! #happinessoverload
All though the cats were pleasant, lets get back to Andrew and Kaitlin! The day was STUNNING as well as her dress and veil! Seriously! Wait to you see it!
I was beyond honored to have gotten the opportunity to share such a beautiful and memorable day with such an amazing couple! It was beautiful seeing the “middle school sweethearts” have their happily ever after and venture into their new beginning as husband and wife.
