Where do I even start?! This is different from any wedding I have ever blogged or shared. This one in particular is attached to my heart in so many ways…Let me first introduce you to Amanda and Joe. Amanda is my BEST friend, “my person”, and my cousin. My other cousin Jess (Amanda’s sister), Amanda, and I were inseparable growing up and still are to this day. We may be in different locations on the map, but our hearts are all so close. When Joe proposed to Amanda I was ecstatic! These two souls are so perfect for each other, words can not even describe.
I (for once) was in the wedding!! Crazy change for this girl. But, of course I had my camera gear taking photos any chance I got along with Hello Miss Lovely’s, Amy Smith. Knowing I would be by Amanda’s side for the most part I knew and trusted Amy would be the perfect fit as her wedding photographer. And as you can see below, she told the story beautifully.

“It had felt like a lifetime of planning and bringing together all the details and I just couldn’t believe the day finally arrived.. it almost still hadn’t hit me yet that we are really doing this! I did start getting butterflies though walking into the church and especially when I first saw Joe. When I got to the altar he whispered in my ear how beautiful I looked and that’s the moment it all seemed so real to me. Seeing all of our family and friends enjoying themselves at the reception was so much fun. Everyone commented on all the little details and it made us so happy. It was all the little details I was so obsessed with and worked so hard on (with lots of help from family) I was so glad to see people noticing them. I wouldn’t change anything that day..
