Oh. My. Goodness.
I have been DYING to share this bridal session with you all, along with the launch of my new HML site! Both this session and my new site represent me as an artist, showcase my style, and further explain just what my brand is. I am beyond excited to finally show you this gorgeous session and the new me!
Hello Miss Lovely is my business, my baby, and my passion. It all started about 4 years ago and has evolved into so much more then I have ever imagined. The fact that your here, reading THIS, means the world to me because today I get to truly show you who I am as a person and an artist. My amazingly-talented graphic designer, Ribbons of Red, designed my new site and brand. I am so thrilled to finally share it with you! Starting this process was invigorating, complex, and a dream come true. Creating a website and a brand doesn’t happen overnight. I truly had to search inside my soul and portray what it is I love, why I do it, and what I want my business to become. Ultimately, I want to create beautiful images, tell numerous love stories, and leave with new friends.
While exploring the new Hello Miss Lovely site—if you look carefully—you’ll find a lot of elements that inspired this gorgeous bridal session, below. I am forever inspired by (and a sucker for) anything floral. My new site incorporates floral elements (as does my HML brand), which is the exact same beauty that I bring into my sessions. For this shoot, I made a floral crown (DIY projects are my fave!), and incorporated a GORGEOUS bouquet by Bella Flora. I also DIY’ed a “Hello Miss Lovely” sign, using the same color pops throughout my site. Can you find them?! The AMAZING cake was made by Heather with Emerald Coast Custom Cakes. The wonderful Lauren from Lovegood Weddings provided the fantastic props.
I love my new BRIDES + BABES sessions (and this session may as well be both)! I love bridal sessions, weddings, and of course my indie babes! My model Kaylyn was such a delight to work with. Her personality alone brought such a fun element to the shoot and really represented the Hello Miss Lovely vibe!
As an artist, I’m attracted to light. The hazy, whimsical kind. Light is definitely my playground. I love to experiment with it and try new things. The images showcased within this beautiful website are soaked with it. Along with being a natural light photographer, most of the time, and I love natural locations. The details of nature alone inspire me everyday. With that said, the location of this bridal session was a perfect find and incredibly beautiful.
I hope you enjoy this inspirational bridal session as much as I do, along with my new site! If you haven’t explored yet, please do!
